Sample Project Summaries

Do you need project management?

A Fortune 100 oil refining and production facility contracted Dynecol to manage the transportation and disposal of accumulated sludges and solids from numerous product storage tanks. Due to the highly viscous and flammable nature of the material, in conjunction with our comprehensive group of pre-qualified subcontractors, we developed a specialized technique to effectively remove and transport the material. The project was completed safely and within budget.

Do you need soil excavation and removal?

Dynecol's resume includes a contract by a government military installation located in Southeast Michigan to manage the excavation and disposal of up to 6,000 yards of hydrocarbon contaminated soil. Project management responsibilities included the mobilization, site preparation, excavation, transportation and disposal of contaminated soils. The project also involved site dewatering, replacement of excavated soil with general fill sand and site restoration.

Are you working on a facility closure?

Dynecol's experience includes the closure of an organic chemical manufacturing company in Warrenville, Illinois. The plant closure included the cleaning, transportation and disposal of sixty 20,000-30,000 gallon tanks that previously held petroleum-based products. The decontamination of tanks required the removal of residual product and power washing the sides and bottom of the tanks. All of the work performed required confined space entry and took place under Level C personal protective equipment. In addition, our staff sampled and characterized over 2,000 drums for off-site disposal and completed a lab pack of miscellaneous chemicals found throughout the plant. We were responsible for the proper characterization of waste streams and establishing approvals for off-site disposal. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
